Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using ACA Academy, you agree to these Terms of Service and all applicable policies. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Program Access

Enrollment grants you a limited, non-transferable license to access course materials for personal educational use. Access can be suspended for policy violations or payment disputes.

3. Payments and Billing

ACA Academy uses a month-to-month subscription model. You are billed 200 CAD per month for Foundation and applicable rates for specializations. Billing continues until you submit verified employment proof, at which point your subscription pauses automatically.

Subscription Pause (Employment-Contingent): When you land a role and submit verified employment proof (job offer letter, employment contract, or LinkedIn update), we verify within 24 hours and pause your subscription. You retain access to your portal and course materials for portfolio reference.

Subscription Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. If you cancel before employment verification, you will not be charged for the following billing period.

Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Failed payments will trigger automatic retry attempts per Stripe's standard policies. Repeated payment failures may result in account suspension.

15-Day Pre-Cohort Refund: If you withdraw within 15 days of your initial payment and before your cohort start date, you receive a full refund of enrollment fees paid. Request it by replying to your enrollment receipt email.

Refunds After Cohort Start: Once your cohort has started, you may cancel future billing at any time (no lock-in), but payments already made are refunded only in cases of billing errors or unauthorized charges. Employment verification does not trigger a refund—it pauses the subscription instead.

4. User Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate account information and maintain credential security.
  • Comply with the Academic Integrity Policy and platform rules.
  • Do not misuse, resell, or redistribute proprietary course content.

5. Limitation of Liability

ACA Academy is provided on an as-is basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from platform use.

6. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
