Academic Integrity Policy

Last updated: May 31, 2026

1. Our Standards

ACA Academy is an AI-first program, which means using AI tools is expected. Integrity is measured by your ability to direct, audit, and explain your work clearly. You must be able to defend every submission in interviews, project reviews, and assessments.

2. Permitted Use of AI

  • Using AI to brainstorm, outline, debug, and improve drafts.
  • Using AI to generate starter code, queries, and documentation.
  • Using AI for simulation, role-play, and interview practice workflows.

3. Prohibited Conduct

  • Submitting work you cannot explain or reproduce.
  • Misrepresenting generated work as independently authored without disclosure.
  • Sharing private course materials, answer keys, or peer submissions without permission.
  • Impersonation, plagiarism, or falsifying project evidence.

4. Attribution and Transparency

When requested by instructors or reviewers, you must disclose where AI assistance was used and provide prompt context, edits, or audit notes that demonstrate your reasoning and ownership.

5. Enforcement

Violations may result in assignment invalidation, access restrictions, probation, or removal from the program, depending on severity and repetition.
